Tengu
Tengu, in Japanese mythology, appear half-human and half-bird. Tengu were thought to live in the mountains of Japan, and many names of famous tengu are around today. These creatures are sometimes put into two categories, daitengu and kotengu, depending on their rank and intelligence. Karasu tengu, translated as 'crow tengu' are a kind of tengu, and as their names' suggest, are half crow, half human. Some tengu are worshiped as kami in the Shinto religion of Japan.
