There's a difference.
People don't seem to understand that Hell Hounds are different from Black Dogs (which are a kind of omen of death). Hell Hounds are shape-shifters, high-ranking in Hell, they don't just willy-nilly hang around cemeteries or attack people like many may think. Black Dogs on the other hand do just randomly terrorize people in the mortal world.

yea when i was 5 or 6 i saw two hellhounds @ the end of my parents bed i didnt have any dogs @ that time so ik what i saw it was @ night i was sleeping and i open'd up my eyes and saw them every hellhound has different color of eyes the ones with white aren't as afraid depends how old they are same with the red eye hellhound some times please some one message me if you have any questions justinleach22@yahoo.com thanks…

I'm not sure if it was a hell hound or something else.But, I saw a black mist thing run through my back yard when I was 13...it was weird...I could see the movement in it. It was like it was like it was on 4 legs and it looked pretty big!!!! It looked l bit bigger than a great dane, but I didn't see any eyes. But the reason I'm not sure if it was a hell hound was because it was right before the sun rose over the horizon.And I'm trying to find out if hell hounds are destroyed by sunlight.

I can relate to you about being marked by the hound.I too was marked several times and bled from it.I actually had my encounter in colombia.I was visiting a friend,and she welcomed me into her home..Its a very indepth convo,so if anyone wanted to reach me to talk about then please do...The hellhound use water too not fire.As in he came from the toilet everytime.I think it was linked to her granmar who complained for over ten yrs of a dog attacking her and possesing her occassionally.Most would think im insane if i spoke freely of this.I know these hounds exsist.

are kids supposed to see hell jounds
i believe that i saw a hell hound once. i went to my cousins house and i saw a black dog. i couldnt see its face but it was a black dog. it was under a car. when it got out of the car i went to check on the other side of the car and it wasent there. my cousins didnt say anything like if the dog was never there. i believe i saw a hellhound. it wasent the first time i have seen a peranormal creature. i am only 12 and i was realy creeped out. if anyone knows anything please tell me i would like to know more about this please.

Okay, so Saturday night/Sunday morning a few of my friends and I were hanging out at a friend's whose parents were out of town. Well, the friend whose house we were staying at got into a fight with her boyfriend over a friend that he had invited over. After the fight, she walked outside and the friend her boyfriend invited over walked out after her. She said she went out there to get the dogs to stop barking. She thought it was the neighbour's dogs. The guy said she was standing there pointing saying look, dogs! That she was excited about seeing them. He made her go in and told her they must be hell hounds and that she must not have realised they were glowing red and only about 4 feet away from her snarling and snapping. She kept hearing the dogs bark and make noise. Then the guy took her back outside and she said there was nothing out there then... Does it seem like it could be hell hounds? And does it mean anything if there is more than one?

I have searched everywhere and cannot find out what this could be.
Has anyone done any research on a mythological creature/folklore creature that sounds like a shrieking cat and has white glowing eyes that comes out at night? I'd imagine it was about 5 ft. tall, but I was so scared that night. I remember flicking open the blinds and they were 'talking' to each other. Making this cat-like noise. Every hair on my body seemed to be at end and I freaked out, ran into the closet. Then, it seemed like it was either under the house or in the closet; it was LOUD. Split my hand open on the closet door as I ranto the living room and pulled out a bible. Started reading it out loud and then went to sleep with all of the lights on in the house. I never read the bible, but dammit, it was scary. My body was actually shaking in fear. The second occurrence, I froze again. There were a lot of strange happenings that I will not discuss. Let's just say it got to the point where friends would come over and not come in. Anyway, I was in the shed behind the house and out of curiousity, happened to look out of the peep hole that the previous tenants had put in. This thing looked like it came out of the ground. Once again, seemed to morph into a black human like shape with white glowing eyes. Literally, for the longest time I thought it was someone screwing with me. Like, putting white LEDs up to their eyes to freak me out. Anyway, it "morphed" and my body seemed to shut down. I couldn't move even though I knew I couldn't be seen. Then, I freaked out, swung the door open and ran into the backyard to confront it or at least find out what it was. Nothing was there. Hell, might as well ask you all. Talk about this outside of forums makes you look retarded/crazy. Thought melaybe someone might have ran across a reasonable explanation to my hellish experiences. At least I can sleep, now. No weird things happening here in the city. I will NEVER live in the country again. I work with the mental aftermath on a daily basis.
