"haunted

peace, love and life are the gifts I do not bring,
for what I brought is a sharp and sliver blade,
along with a frightful night full of pain,
sit next to me, and you will no longer be sane,
for your soul is mine, it is the thread that is weaved into my cloak,
you can run, but I will never be far behind you,
I am your shadow, I am in every darkness, I am inside you.

Well, I liked the poem, at least. Though, I've read many of that kind before (and actively sought them out, at that), so mayhaps I'm just a bit immune to the shock some might fall under upon reading it. :o

“One Life, One Blade”

One by one, they are picked off,
Darkness blinds them as fear binds them
Standing in the long line a little girl cries
With each swipe of the blade a silent thud is heard
The little girl is next, she turns ash white
A light reflects off the blade, she holds her breath
She feels it ripping through her body
Her hands turn cold, her eyes grow dull
Her last breath escapes,
Her body falls, and is drug to a pile
Later is burned, to remove any trace
That this little girl had once lived.

But you can cause the light will always be there. You just have to believe in yourself.

light or dark? evil or good? in the end if you should happen to be viewing it from the right side... then both will be light, but be it that you view them yet another angle they shall both be evil... it is only how you look at things, not how they really are, because you do not hear their words, does it mean they said nothing? because you hear many words, does that mean they were spoken? life's enigmas are those that explain the nature of the being's who so wish to learn more of it... in the end we will never deserve the knowledge of good or evil, nor the knowledge of light and dark.... for it is only a view, and if these views were told to you then they would influence you... go with chance, and know it can only be for the better, and do not fester over your losses, you will never move forward this way 1  out of 1 found this valuable. The Ultimate Pain The Ultimate Sorrow
I stand to be judge, sure of my steps
I know best- but I had not.
My failures has caught up to me
My partner now dead, the cause my hand
Had I not refuse their choices, he would be alive
Had I simply did what I was supposed to
He would be by my side
I do not regret my choice because of me-
but because of him
so young, so strong
My epic failure
I may have once been powerful-
Now I have lost all.
The pain of a dragon master's heart to much to bear
Yet it is my punishment,
My curse: to always fail, always
My blessings- I threw them away.
Now I must send myself into exile
I am the monster.
*tears fall like ashes from a forest fire*
Do not look for me, I will not be found
Do not try to contact- I will not answer
Do not try to comfort, You do not understand
Do not doubt me- the worlds you can not see is very real
And I? I will remain hidden, untouched by anyone else.
I did not get death- I continue my life
I am unfit as a leader, and as a friend
Thus the poem ends and I for once and all will disappear
Thus starts my self-exile.

34. Humility and Healing

Fire rises in my viens
Water is absorbed into me
Earth supports my steps
The wind listens to my anguish
Time is slowed to a stop
Matter is seen through
In mourning does my power listen to my command
I wonder if I shouldn't listen to the beast in me more?
Listen to my power, for it seems to know something I don't
I wonder why I cant remember- then maybe it was another lesson
To listen though one may not understand
To learn humility, though one may be hurt or scared
To see, to do, and to be.
In the night of winter do I start again the ritual of fusion of the powers of darkness
In the day of summer do I start again the ritual of fusion of the powers of light.
I must learn again. I must heal again. I am simply a crystal rose.

The Black Parade:
------------------------------------------------------
The damned that walk through the empty abyss
Shadowed by a blanked of descending snow
A drowning despair that flooded each of their lives
Shown by black bags that rest upon their eyes
I saw them as they marched past me
And on each of them, were cloths painted in black
And masks of human expressions worn over their faces
I reached my hand out to them, as they marched by
And one took my grip, and led me beyond the darkness
His name I did not know
His face, I’ve not seen before
And his voice was quiet, like a whisper
But like thunder to my ears
Hand in hand we marched on with the rest
In a parade of shadows, walking to no place special
Hand in hand, as the snow enveloped our tracks
As we marched onward
And left nothing behind
But a memory
But a moment
But a feeling
Hand in hand.
--------------------------------------------
One of my more uplifting poems, in my eyes, at least. XD

Clashes

Brightest nights,
Darkest days,
Haunting silence,
Peaceful noise,
Restful death,
Painful sleep,
Open your eyes,
See what I see,
Be as I am,
Once I have found you,
You well never be lost,
Run if you may,
But I will hold you at bay,
No shadow will hide you,
Forever I will be beside you,
I may guide you,
I may protect you,
I will never forget you,
Regrets you will have,
Of the choices you made,
I am forever to be obeyed.
