The petals on a rose are small to bigThe outer layers hold the inner secret As time passes people, and things hurt the rose Tearing each petal off. The rose tries to grow, struggling just to survive It changes and adapts There is something to always tear into her Eating the rose away. She is left as a simple rosebud There is a final change she is forced to do This change has made her of stone She can not be hurt, can not be torn down She can stand strong She can now grow. I can now succeed. Do you find this valuable? |

Disenchanted------------------------------------------------- I walk along this four pronged prison Encased behind walls of transparent steel A soundless prism erected Where the cries of silent tears are never heard And the wounds of the past never heal Anger rising Like the tempest of a storm An angel dying Plunged into the darkness in which I was born Boundless miles that stretch beyond the eye A road and map lay dark and stained Like the vile words of your feigned lies Blame no target, for it could only stay in place Judge the archer, whose arrow laid claim and waste Broken promises and shallow goodbyes Form a noose around our necks That lifts us into the sky -------------------------------------------- One of my dark...er poems. Death was my black birthNeglected at a young age Taken from my mother Families fighting over me Withdrawals from drugs I was forced to Childhood was good until age 8 Birth mother showed up Destroyed my life with a few words Rebellion kicked in, for I was hurt Age 12 a demon wanted my death He craved for my power I fought him for 5-6 years Killed him Suicide ran through my mind Many attempts were made Depression reigned Rage often rises Thoughts that were not my own Ran through my mind It suggested terrible things I fought still, and won Angels were sent to kill me Many demons followed me after that I helped people- demonics stronger than me tried to kill me A being of darkness, showed me lies to make me give in A being of light also persuades me Neutrality claims me The one person I greatly respect died I was forced to learn within a few days the life of a grown up My car was taken from me by a relative My home- I had to move Same relative Job was abusive to me Full of lies, and hate Backstabbers I had lost everything so I thought Then my mistake came I then lost my compainion Then truly lost everything I had gained And this is just the simple story... 1 out of 1 found this valuable. Do you? |
